The R-button on the keyboad works about 2% of the time i'm pressing it. Is there anything i can do about it besides sending it of to repairs?
Did a video showing the problem.

Several users are experiencing the same problem. Is this gonna be a major problem? My laptop is currently under warranty but what if this happens after the warrany expires.

Yep, same exact issue here as well with two different 15-EN0023DX models happening at the same time I got my two daughters for Christmas. Would like to know a fix or recourse for this, have tried reinstalling the keyboard drivers and looking for updates but no luck there.

This is starting to look like a epidemic failure to me. There is plenty of threads about this issue, most without any replies. It would be nice to know if those people got their laptops fixed or if they just learned to live with it.

Update.
I called the HP-support in my region and I'm gonna have my laptop shipped of to be repaired after my vacation. I really hope this is fixable but I'm having my doubts. Oh well, the repair comes with a 3month warranty so the worst case scenario is that it gets sent of to repairs again.

Just the normal stuff.
Hard reset. Installing all updates (win +hp-stuff). Reboot in safe-mode to see if the problem was still there.. and it was.
I my case the problem occurs when gaming for a while and using the WASD buttons repeatedly.

Update!
Got my omen back last week. The whole keyboard was replaced and so far it's working as it should.
The replaced part is called "TOP MCS W KB WTL BL-RGB NORDIC" and when i google it it's priced at around $200.
I dont know what this would have costed me if my laptops was not under warranty but i wouldn't be surpriced if it was above $500 with work and shipping so I really hope the new keyboard is gonna work fine for may years to come.
I'll update this thread if any problems comes up.

As of this weekend im seeing same issue, since yesterday or so the X key also started. But the x is worse, i need to keep holding it before it registers a click. I can see it an issue because when i test it and keep holding it, it jtters and stops randomly and then continues after a while.
Bought November 27th and just checked my warranty and its till today?!?! It started in September, kinda weird, i bought 2 months after that? I feel like im ripped off with that warranty method they apply.
