My options are finally exhausted ...

 

Please contact the seller. He should provide you with a working Windows 10 and Windows 11 driver with the help of HP and send you a new touchpad (tested with Windows).

Unfortunately the seller does not provide drivers, only hardware.

You're welcome !

 

Report to the seller that the touchpad does not work with Windows. We have spent hours on this and have tried every conceivable procedure that no one else would do. Claim your money back and buy a touchpad directly from HP.

I appreciate that but HP charges too much for the equipment directly, which is why a 3rd party was necessary. I was given a refund but HP would not sell one for as cheaply as I'd need.
