- Google Blocking HP Smart???

True - HP Smart is not well understood by everyone -- those in departments who are not familiar with the application have perhaps not even come across it. Reading documentation is not the same as seeing or using.
Having checked all your platforms means (you know) that the latest version of the application is running on each of those devices (computer, Mac, Mobile). True -- Checking for "latest version" is not a "Google" access related check -- It is just something that should be done when the app is installed on different systems.
I've sent a note to our Moderator team to look out for this as a developing issue.
Request for Review – Please Read
A request has been submitted to our HP Community moderators for review and evaluation of your concern.
Worth Noting
- Our HP Community is a peer-to-peer user group.
- We are not HP Technical Support -- We are not associated with HP Sales, Service, or Warranty.
- Our request for assistance on your behalf does not guarantee HP will respond nor does our request influence the outcome.
- The time frame (how long it takes) to receive a response from HP is not controlled by the Community.
Important
- HP does not free-post HP Support numbers on the Internet. Not. Not in secret, not in chat, not in pop-ups, and not so a nice technician can call you back, sneak into your computer, and then tell you your computer is full of bugs.
- Be wary of any posted messages in the Community containing phone or email links – these are likely scammers who mean you harm.
- Please do not post any personal information in the Community. We are a public resource.

The latest from HP via Twitter...
"Thanks for bringing it up to us. We have notified our engineers to revise the list. We'll make sure to fix it as quickly as possible."
I don't know what "revise the list" means in this context, but it appears they've acknowledged the issue.

Same issue for me, I needed to re-add my Google account as original authentication token had expired. I got the same error about app being blocked when going through the integration / authentication process.

I'm having the exact same issue. Scan to Google drive used to work from the HP printer but this feature stopped working. I tried to set it up all again but Google is not allowing HP Printer activation code to be added.

Same here. Spent an hour on the phone with HP but no joy. Google is my next stop. Same issues as everyone else. multiple google accounts, same error message as well:
Tried deleting HP smart from "Third-party apps & services" but got the same error.
Ugh.
