Unfortunately, HP won't hire you, because your response is better than what I have gotten from their tech support,. who won't even acknowledge the problem or escalate it to have it corrected by the right team. They just keep telling me all the things I'm doing wrong, which have nothing to do with the actual problem :(.

I have had zero success getting HP engaged/interested in solving this. I have been absolutely shocked at the poor quality of there products, software, and support. They used to be considered the pinnacle of quality, but at this point they are a poster child for what is wrong with "tech" companies today.
I would ask EVERYONE with this issue too submit a ticket on this issue- if their buggy support systems will let you!
One warning: I had one well-meaning support tech whoe insisted I had set up the printer wrong, that you could only have one cloud service configured, and a bunch of other patently false stuff. So make it clear this is an issue between the hpsmart API and the google api, and has nothing to do with the printer. Prepare for lots of run-around.

I got this response from HP support:
As google has blocked the access, we request you to contact the google support team and they will assist you further with the issue.
Just refusing to acknowledge the issue.

So frustrating.
can you reply to the ticket and say that since the error was "app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account", this issue is with HP and HP needs to resolve it (approx 0% chance of anything happening, apparently)
The caliber of HP is so shockingly poor these days. I wish I had bought a canon or a brother. HP used to be the pinacle of quality, and now is is a pathetic joke - both the products and the support/company.
