This is a fix for the error messages "hp monitoring will damage your computer". This is some kind form of potentially dangerous malware (google and search hp monitoring framework to verify). Anyhow, this fix worked for me and I haven't seen any alerts or popups since Friday.
First step, will also fix slow Mac issues sometimes, is to go to the Apple in the upper left, select "system pref", select "users and groups", and select "login items". If you see anything listed with a yellow triangle next to it, remove it by hitting the minus (-) sign. Restart computer.
Next, try to open safari or chrome and the alert should pop up again. Click on send to apple and in the window that comes up, find the specific file name (example /users/...) Open finder, click on "on this Mac", type in the file name or hpmonitoring.framework and/or hpmonitoringhelper and in the list populated, find the match. Drag it to the trash, empty the trash, and restart your computer. Removing and uninstalling the printer and readding it will not resolve the issue, as this is a form of malware coming from a user survey from hp. Once you get a popup, until you follow the steps above, it will be on your computer. Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer might temporary fix but as soon as you try to open chrome or safari again, the alert comes back. I did mine on Friday, it works fine now. Malwarebytes may or may not detect it, mine did not detect it. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to message me. For the person who said this is not a form of malware, do your homework. A simple google search on the file name will verify that it is in fact, a form of malware. Good luck everyone.

This is a message for HP (not the users):
I have been an Apple user for decades and have *never* encountered a problem like this. Ever. I can not tell you how upset I am. You have had days to fix this but nothing.
This will likely mean that I will never buy an HP product ever again. This is unbelievable carelessness.

I recently started to get similar messages. I am working on a MacBook Pro using macOS Catalina 10.15.17. After reading various queries within this site, I finally deleted my printer both from the "library" and from "system preferences, printers and scanners". Once it was deleted from both places, I restarted my computer and then installed HP EasyStart. So far, that has resolved the issue. We'll see if it says "good".

Thank you for all the tips, I managed to fix my printer, but still get the annoying popups with the message:
“HPDM.framework” will damage your computer.
I tried the tips from Dusty 661Halo but it did not fix it. Any additional ideas?

I am having the same problem and I am getting so annoyed with this pop up that will not go away. Yes I called Apple and they could not even get into my computer to share screen and I tried to uninstall and reinstall my HP OfficeJet 6978 and still no result to get rid of this pop up. HPDeviceMonitoring.framework will damage your computer. I am so frustrated. Yes my warranty with HP also expired. Anyone who can figure this out please post the solution.
