Bypass setup cartridges

I am having the same issue.  I recently purchased an OfficeJet 5258 printer and there are no "Setup" cartridges in the box.  Is there any way to bypass this? Please help! Thank you!

Hi @Hobble1,

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.

Hello,

I am having a similiar issue with an Envy Photo 7120.  When I open the cover it doesn't place the cartridge holder at the far right. If I manually move it there and put the ink cartridges in, it gives me the message about not having the setup cartridges. Can you give me the steps to bypass it?

I am having the same problem with my HP OfficeJet 6958. I have a error "Use SETUP Cartridges" , but I do not have them .
