Hi @INDY_MULTANI,

Thanks for showing interest in the HP Support Forums!

I noticed that you're experiencing problems with paper jams on your HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw Printer. I will certainly do my best to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

I see that you have followed the troubleshooting steps within this guide:

I recommend that you try the NVRAM Reset. I can send you that information in a private message. In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it. This will set the printer back to factory default settings. The network would have to be configured again.

If you completed all the preceding steps and your product still has an issue, service the product.

Contacting HP for service in all countries/regions except Asia Pacific.
First, go to Check your product warranty to check your printer warranty status, and then go to Contact HP Support to find an authorized service dealer or to schedule a repair.
Check Warranty Status: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/wc/public/home
Repair fees might apply for out-of-warranty printers.
What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

Thank you for the attempted help, Drakster.  I ended up calling HP Service and they suggested 2 fingers on the screen in the lower right and then the lower left corner during start up of the printer.  Neither option worked.

The only option presented was to buy a new printer.  Having spent nearly $500 for this machine only 2 years ago, I will be buying anything but an HP printer going forward.  Great looking product and tremendous function...IF it functions.

As the decision maker at my employer (and having a second HP LaserJet 200 on my desk), I will also consider this reliability when it comes to a technology refresh across our organization's 52 printer/copier/MFP devices.

I know it isn't your fault Drakster, just not the quality and reliability one comes to expect from today's technology.

Hi,

I have the same problem, 'Jam in output bin. Open rear door and clear the jam!' Message shows on the display.
I opened the door, no paper detected. Then I tried with the reset disconnecting the power cord as instructed. Still experiencing the same problem.

Can you please send me the instructions what to do?

Thank you!

Best regards,
Audrey

Hello,

I am also getting the same "jam in rear output bin" message. I have followed all of the recommended steps and I am still getting the error message. Can you please send me the additional steps to try as well?

Thank you!

I cannot get a response from HP, have a printer that won't work, stuck in the same error, nothing jammed in it, have done the unplug routine, I can't print, I need to print, can anyone make the steps public on this forum so no one from HP is bothering to reply to me to give me the super-secret-private, no one gets to know this steps.

What worked for me was giving up and buying a Xerox.

Oh Harr!!!  I could reach through my computer and smack you if I weren't reserving my strength and anger buildup to beat this printer to death!
