HP DESKJET 2600 ALL-IN-ONE

Hi there,

I have had my printer approx 2 months and have only printed a small amount of pages in that time. I have just gone to print a few more documents and it sounds as if the printer is functioning correctly, making all the right noises etc when printing, but it is printing blank pages.

I only used the printer 1 week ago and it was fine, so I can't imagine the ink nozzles to have dried up in that time. Just in case though, I have done several cleans, I have tried to print realign pages, documents in different formats to the initial one that i tried printing, I have even took the cartridges out, given them a shake, tried to print with just the black cartridge in etc, but still, nothing.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers and still being faced with the same problem.

My ink levels are also fine (approx 50%) and there was no evidence on the document that was printed last week that these were running out.

Can anyone help? I need to print these documents urgently.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi, can you print a copy from the front panel?

Hi Dean,

No, unfortunately not. It sounds like its printing, but again, comes out blank.

Remove both cartridges.

Try soaking the black cartridge printhead in hot water for a few minutes b4 drying it and printing a copy.

Just followed your instructions but still nothing 😞

My suggestion would be to try a new black cartridge.

I have a colour catridge in there too so surely that still would be working?

Thanks for your help anyway 🙂

Simple test, touch the color printhead to a damp paper towel do you see any ink?

I have the exact same problem!!! Exactly!!!! Even same period of owning the printer and not using it much...... It started with hazy sentences and then everything disappeared and became blank. Did you find the solution???? Please help me regarding this issue as well.

Thanks!

Hi I'm having the same issue, can anyone help?

I bought this a few weeks ago, so haven't had much use of this yet. Originally it just fed the paper through without printing anything on it, so I changed the black ink cartridge. Then it started printing again, but in the wrong order and some pages of the same document were printing up-side down. I tried to manually resolve this by printing separate pages of my document, and now the pages are blank again.

Getting very frustrated with this, as it's brand new!
