I threw the printer in the dumpster. That is how I solved my issue. Will never buy anohter HP. I spent MONTHS and hours trying to solve this, much of that wiht the Tech support here. My sense is that HP has discontinued updating drivers for this printer, yet I saw them for sale yesterday at Walmart!

@bittersweet85 wrote:Hi there,
I have had my printer approx 2 months and have only printed a small amount of pages in that time. I have just gone to print a few more documents and it sounds as if the printer is functioning correctly, making all the right noises etc when printing, but it is printing blank pages.
I only used the printer 1 week ago and it was fine, so I can't imagine the ink nozzles to have dried up in that time. Just in case though, I have done several cleans, I have tried to print realign pages, documents in different formats to the initial one that i tried printing, I have even took the cartridges out, given them a shake, tried to print with just the black cartridge in etc, but still, nothing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers and still being faced with the same problem.
My ink levels are also fine (approx 50%) and there was no evidence on the document that was printed last week that these were running out.
Can anyone help? I need to print these documents urgently.
Thanks in advance 🙂

I'm having this exact same problem, any chance I could get whatever advice you sent to Squidaline?
There are a bunch of other people on this thread too that could probably use that info.
At this rate I'm pretty sure it's a software problem, probably related to instant-ink. It'll print a test page... but not if I tell it to print a test page. Then I'll get a blank page.
However, if I use the software to run a 'clean', then at the end of the clean it'll print a test page, which looks a bit ropey (white lines through it, but those have practically always been there). Then if I try to print a test page again directly after it'll just print a blank page. It's like normal print requests are being deliberately aborted, like for example if it thought I was at some hard print limit for the month... but I'm definitely not.
So in short... there is ink, but it won't print... unless I tell it to 'clean', and then it'll print a test page, but not under any other circumstances, including using the face buttons on the printer itself to print test pages... just blank pages all round.
Thanks for your time.

I can tell you the solution I came up with after almost three months of emailing in circles with this HP "support". I threw my HP printer in the dumpster and will NEVER buy another HP. I highly suggest you do the same.

I am having the same issue with my printer printing black pages. My cartridges are both full to 100% and I tried all of the alignments provided on HP app. I am not getting any results. When I try to print printer report etc I am getting a blank page. The printer makes a funny sound when it's printing the blank paper. No ink on paper. I have not been able to use this printer since the day I bought it. I am very disappointed. If I can't find a solution I will have to start using a different company for printers, etc.
