I have gone through your Post and I would like to help
I suggest you perform a Semi Full Reset
Since these steps are specific to your printer, I have sent you a private message with the next course of action
Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.
Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope

Unfortunately if resetting the network settings doesn't work, then you will need to contact HP Support for Service Options because this printer model doesn't have a touchscreen and the only way to enter the internal settings is through the EWS Page which would not be possible right now due to the password issue
Click on this link -www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support

If you have already performed the Semi Full Reset and the issue persists, I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
