I used to have this issue happen to me after Win10 updates many years ago where the duplex option is suddenly change to print on both sides manually.  That was resolved by making the setting in "Printer Properties", "Device Settings" , goto "Duplex Unit" and select "Installed" and hit "Apply" to save your latest settings. I do not have any issue since then.

And now, i facing the same issue again. on Windows 11 this time.

Why Microsoft breaks the duplex function of my printer again?

Well...for the sake of anyone facing this issue out there, the same old trick that i said below still works to get back my duplex printing option on my printer.

Good luck everyone.

I can't see anything below your post, could you please tell me how you fixed the problem of your printer not giving the option to print both sides as mine has now done this since I updated to Windows11.
