Keep saying "Reset the product" again and I'm going to look for where you live.

Did some one figure out the problem

HP Recommended

The problem is within their "network" code module.  HP has been completely silent on this issue.

If I unplug Network and turn off WiFi printer does not crash.  shortly after using either WiFi or CAT5 printer will crash.

Its crazy they (HP) have not fixed this.  Just another reason to avoid HP at all costs.

Since this is an HP support area, you would assume they would be talking to us and working this issue.

They are doing neither......

Throw printer in the trash.  Go buy a Brother, Epson or anything OTHER than HP.

Power resets don’t work… this error happens multiple times a day

The only way I got it fixed was by factory resetting the ENTIRE printer. Don't unplug it and replug it in or factory reset the network. You need to fully reset the entire printer in order to get the error out.

How do you do a factory reset?

there is no menu item for this.

it has to be done secret button push.

please tell us all how to factory reset!!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Can you please send me the steps needed to fix my printer with the error code B305DFF9?  Thank you.

Sandytech20,

what is the status?  The issue should have been in front of HP for over a year now.

what have they (HP) said about this?

It looks as though this is the answer, at long last.   A previous post said that one had to apply to HP to get a factory reset, but this is nonsense  -  it is indeed an available option on the printer.  I did mine this morning, and after eight hours it still hasn't gone into the blue-screen of death.   This last couple of weeks it's been doing it every three minutes, so this is almost like a miracle cure.

I'll give it a while longer, just in case it goes wrong again, but if it is still OK over the next day or so I'll post exact details of how to do the 'factory reset', and several hundred miserable customers of HP will get happy again.

Delakando, if this really is the answer you will deserve kudos from everyone on this thread!
