I have tried this a number of times, and still get incompatible cartridges error. Is there any update on the new firmware?

Hello Bearded420;

The process above explains how to remove the F0 error. Most likely what you get now is not such F0 error, but some notification about incompatible cartridges. Most likely you have Instant Ink cartridges installed. Because you performed a hard reset on your printer, you need to re-pair your printer into Instant Ink by logging into the printer's Embedded Web Server and initiate the pairing process from there.

If you need help with the pairing process, you can call Tech support and ask for assistance to enroll your printer back into Instant Ink (if applicable for your setup).

Hey,

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer this. I spent 4 hours on the live chat/phone with support yesterday and their solution was to send a full set of new toner....

Was able to repair and up and running today!

I tried that method.

The printer rejected the web page and I couldn't access the printer to  factory restart.

You rock!

After taking only 1 cartridge out, I still kept getting the message.

I followed your instructions, even unplugged it, then when I started it, the error message was gone and I was able to do the factory reset.

I also changed the settings so it will not autoupdate the firmware.
