My ENVY 7855 has frozen again during startup and the fix provided by @elohi_nr back in January is not working this time. Any other recommendations?

The fix that the HP support rep gave to me in January was to touch the lower left area of the (ENVY 7855) printer control panel where the Return icon (↩️) would be…when the display is working normally…4 times. If it works, that should bring you back to the support menu where you can reset the printer. I’ve also seen this hack in other HP Support posts as well as a YouTube video. In fact, this did work for me when my printer froze 2 months ago. 

However, note that as I type this my ENVY 7855 is frozen again, and this fix is not working. For me, at least, I think it is time for a new printer.

I see there is an accepted solution for this problem that many others have also reported.  How do we find this solution?

How can others get access to this solution?  I am new to this forum/group and not sure how it works but would love to get my printer working again after many days without it and several frustrating hours searching for solutions.
