HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 (Z4B53A)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 (Z4B53A). I bought it before one and half month, i installed and configured it according manual ad print several test pages and it worked well. Since then it have been sitting idle until today when i tried to print some documents and it does not print black. All the tanks are about 1mm below max. line.  I have tried to follow steps in this document https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c05627782 (all except for replacing the printheads) but nothing worked.

What are the proper steps to resolve this issue?

Welcome to the HP Community

I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Then refer to this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-ink-tank-wireless-410-series/16180953/model/16180954/documen... for Black Ink Not Printing and Other Print Quality Issues.

Hi, Thank you for your advice. I have tried Hard Reset as you suggested. Then i printed test page and  it has some black color on it (before it had none).

But as you can see quality is pretty bad. Is there anything else i can do to fix it?

Hi, I went through all of the steps in the link you provided and after cleaning the print heads quality of the test page increased a little. So i ran the cleaning for about ten more times and it seems that it mostly solved the problem.

This is the last test page. The black box is still not perfect but all the text is now readable.

This is a hardware issue with the ink system.
