HP Officejet pro 8610 error code 0xc19a0040

This morning I started getting the following error message: The printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. Error code 0xc19a0040.

I reset the cartridges, printer head and printer.  It did not work.  I then reinstalled the latest HP software and reset the printr head 3 X and it still does not work.

It won't even print the test page on "HP Easy Start"

What should I do next?

As per this document, power resetting the printer and re-seating the printhead are the only possible solution for a "Missing or Failed Printhead' Error. Since you have already tried those steps, I'm afraid, its a possible printhead failure. Please call HP Support to obtain all available repair/replacement options, to call HP Support:

1.) Click on this link.

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
