I contacted microsoft by phone and was advised that HP should fix the problem.  In the interim I have found that windows 10 has a downloadable tool which can hide selected updates and this will prevent them being installed.

The tool is on the website and it is wushowhide.diagcab.

This is a temporary solution till HP provides a patch for the Solution  Centre.  At least it has stopped the repeated downloading, installation of KB 3132372 which blocks the Solution Centre and which I have had to unistall several times today to get the solution centre to work.

I will try to talk to HP tech support next week to ascertain whether they are working on a patch

As with most Windows 10 update problems (and there have been many), Microsoft is happy to blame the 'other guy'.  Unfortunately, it is difficult for we users to ascertain the truth of the matter.  MS is aware of the problem, which has been posted on the Windows 10 Forum.  Hopefully either HP or MS will provide the fix.  As an FYI, upgrading to the latest Adobe Flash Player does not solve the problem.

I am having the same problem everyone else describes here.  The only way I can get around it is to remove the update.  It keeps comming back so each time I want to use my HP Printer or Scanner I have to remove the update again as it seems it keeps finding its way back into my Windows 10 PC.  I have removed my windows 10 PC from service and changed to one of my Window 7 PC's and the HP solution Center works normally on Win 7.

I called Microsoft, their call center in India gave me another number to call which is 1 800 642 7676.  At this call center they did not acknowledge any problem existed with the update and suggested I contact HP.  Interesting Microsoft  techs do not even acknowledge there is a problem with the update.

For now, until a permanent fix is available my Windows 10 PC will just be a dust collector. I have just about had it with Windows 10, nothing but a headache from the word go.

While I was on the phone with the Microsoft call center in India, I asked can they recommend a printer and scanner that will be compatible with Windows 10 in the future and they could not give any recommendation.  Obviously they are trying to steer people away from HP products.

Windows has a little program called wushowhide.  it will show or hide windows update. if you pick the update that is the problem and click to hide it, Windows will not try to re-install it.  My old Windows 8.1 pro gave me the option with that operating system to show or hide updates to stop them.  Why would they not put that back in Windows 10?  Do they think that we are too stupid to know what to hide?

This uninstall "fix" did not work for me.  The HP Solution Centre popped up and shut down with the audible beep.  I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for my printer (C4480) and run another Windows update.  Hopefully that will work.

First I uninstalled the update (second time for me) and then I downloaded the tool that would hide the update from Microsoft ( I could still see it.)  In the tool I checked the update that was responsible and that stopped it from downloading again.  The tool is a window's update how or hide tool.  Good luck.  My printer is Hp Officejet Pro L7780 all in one.

MS just release an update. See below;

I downloaded it and HP solutions Center did opened.

Yes, this update corrected the flash player malfunction.

Yes, the fix downloaded automatically.  I, also, noted the corrupting update was showing too.  I guess it got unhidden somehow. Mine was fixed by blocking the last update; so, I guess I don't know if this would have worked or not.
