there is no ethernet cable to printer.

 

so under wireless setting's>advanced settings I have

 

ip settings

ipv6

proxy settings

host name

Bonjour name

legacy default ip

You told me that you were able to access EWS page. If so, then just run the printer software.

woe..what happend to typing in the ip address? what do you mean "run the printer software"? sorry I don't understand.

Hello, 

 

On the Printer touch Setup ( wrench icon ) > Wireless Settings > Advance settings > IP Settings > Manual ( static ).
Type in for
IP = 192.168.1.240
Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Default GateWay = 192.168.1.254
And then press OK.

 

Wait for 30 seconds.

On PC , open internet explorer and type in 192.168.1.240  in address bar and hit ENTER key. You should be able to see the EWS of the printer.

Run the printer software to install it.
