Everything in the EWA is locked and I cannot do a factory reset without the login credentials.  I have not set up a user name/password and cannot do anything in the EWS.

Welcome to the HP Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, you are trying to reset the EWS password.

Don't worry, I'm here to help! Let's try a network restore on the printer -

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for the solution.  It would be helpful if the EWS login/password were included in the printer documentation along with the procedure for resetting them.

You are welcome. Happy to hear from you. EWS password is set by the users and that's why it is not mentioned in the user guide.

Hope this answers your question.

If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Have a great day!
