I'm having the same problem. This printer used to print perfectly in color. Then one day it stopped. I have just purchased new certified HP color ink cartridges, have followed all instructions by the HP employees on this page, and it is still only printing in black and white. In addition to wasting money on color cartridges, and wasting time on trying to figure out some inexplicable mystery of why this machine is no longer working in a very specific way, it is tremendously frustrating to just be told: Contact HP.
You have to be kidding.
When I fill out your survey, I get this: we value your comments. HP is continually striving to improve your support experience.
This is patently not true.

Same Scenario
As Hosman 1. Replaced cartridges with HP color ink cartridges. Office Depo indicates the cartridges are HP products. Will not show as full. I've removed and re-installed software. cleaned printer heads multiple times and still no color will print. It's apparent that HP has issues with their printers as multiple persons I've spoken to and consulted with have the same issues. HP must have invested in a tree ranch, I've spent a ton on paper. Poor quality printer and customer service is non-existent.

Welcome to HP support community.
Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?
Did you make a copy and check if that prints in color?
Reply with the requested information for more assistance.
Cheers.
