As of yesterday evening, I've been getting "Paper Size Mismatch" when trying to print a pdf. I changed the size of the PDF, tried to print again, and got the error message again. I tried printing test pages and the same message came up. I'm using a Deskjet 2700 series All-In-One printer off Windows 10.
The paper is correct and the printed items (using various files) use the same paper size, but nothing prints. I get a start of a print, as in the paper will scroll as if to begin printing, then I get the error message again and the paper scrolls to the end and spits out onto the holding tray.
I printed things out yesterday morning without issue. Any ideas? I've tried using Print and Scan Doctor, HP Smart, and LibreOffice to print the items and nothing seems to work.

Hi @Pegasus58,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you've already attempted several troubleshooting steps, but let's go through some additional suggestions to try to resolve the "Paper Size Mismatch" error with your HP Deskjet 2700 series printer:
Check Paper Size Settings: Make sure the paper size settings in both your printer and the print settings of your computer match the size of the paper you're using. Sometimes, even a small discrepancy can trigger the error message.
Reset Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a couple of minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn the printer back on and see if the issue persists. Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve temporary glitches.
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with your operating system or applications.Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2700 All-in-One Printer series
Check Printer Firmware: Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve various issues with the printer's functionality.
Try Different Application: If you're consistently encountering an error with PDF files, try printing from a different application to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem lies with the PDF files or the printer itself.
Inspect Paper Tray and Feed Rollers: Ensure that the paper tray is loaded correctly and that the paper guides are adjusted properly to fit the paper size. Additionally, check for any debris or obstructions in the paper feed rollers that might be causing the paper to misfeed.
Paper Quality: Sometimes, low-quality or damaged paper can cause printing errors. Try using a different batch of paper to see if that resolves the issue.

I tried everything on your list. I managed to get it printing after plugging the computer directly into the wall outlet and turning it upside down and shaking all the dust out. It now prints both pdfs and diagnostics stuff. I just can't print out the information when I press (I) and (X) at the same time. I think I'll leave setting up the ink supply for later. I'll call them Monday morning and see if I can register for the ink program that way.
Thank you for all your help.
