Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Brand new ink cartridge, will not print black, prints a light gray but no black, I cleaned the printer head with alc and now it works even worse, not even printing the light gray. When I print a test page it prints the black words "Test page" and all the info but where black inc should be it is blank, I don't understand how gray works and black doesnt

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Estimated Ink Levels. Replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

 

Clean the printhead

Touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. If print quality is unacceptable on the page that prints, touch Clean Again to perform a second cleaning, and then continue to the next step.

 

Run a Print Quality Diagnostic report

On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Check for black.

 

If the issue persists, perform step 3 from this document.
