Hi! @jps5

Are you using an HP genuine ink cartridge?

Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge?

Replace any empty, low or faulty ink cartridges on the printer. Also, try cleaning the ink cartridge contacts and check if it helps.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page, and then evaluate the results.

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  3. Open the Reports or Tools menu.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.

I tried all that. Nothing works. I believe I will need a new printer.

Hi! @jps5,

Thanks for the update.

If you have tried all the steps suggested, it certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the printer.
