It is a sad tale and does not tell us anything about your Printer model or what you have tried.

What?

There are thousands of printers and certainly that many posts and replies in the HP Community.

Windows Update

Depending on the unknown Operating System / version you are running on your computer, the Windows Update request might mean that the printer is not (yet) detecting one or more Windows drivers or files needed by the printer.

Run Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates

Install any updates found as a result of the "check".

After any updates are installed, Restart the computer and log in.

=================================

Printer Firmware

Not directly related to Windows Updates, the Printer Firmware should be running the latest version.

The Firmware at the printer's product home website represents the released version of Firmware for the printer.

Yes, it is true that in some cases the printer might be running a version of Firmware that is newer than the one offered at the support website -- The printer should not be running a version that is lower (older) than the one offered.

Open

 Product Home - Printers

Open Category Software & drivers

If needful, change the Operating System / version

Open All

Find and open the category for the Firmware

Check / Decide whether to install the firmware update

Reference

Update the firmware on an HP printer

Use Embedded Web Server (EWS) to find your printer's Firmware version

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Tools > Printer Information > Firmware Version

OR – Alternate Format EWS

Use Embedded Web Server (EWS) to find your printer's Firmware version

Section General > Firmware Update > Firmware Information / Firmware Updates

Example - EWS - Alternate format - Select New printers - Firmware Update

Print Services - Windows Print Queue Manager

Your comment about "driver spoolers" is a bit less clear -- the two words together are not a phrase I recognize.

That said, Windows does manage a "spooler" that manages how jobs are placed in the printer queue and then dispensed to the printer.

If Print Services gets stuck, dislikes one or more files that might be left over from previous job attempts, and / or simply gets hung up and cannot run properly, nothing prints.  Jobs appear to "go" but end up in a sort of vacuum (airless void).

The most common fix for a broken printer queue includes stopping Print Services > clearing the associated folders > Restarting Print Services.

After having cleared and rebuilt the Spooler / Print Services, if anything seems amiss, Restart the computer and log in.

===========================================

Print Queue / Print Service Reset

  • In most cases, after a print job has been accepted, it is turned over the Windows Print Services for completion.
  • When a job is "stuck in the queue", it is sometimes because Print Services is stuck or otherwise “broken”.
  • If the job is accepted and quickly disappears, it is perhaps the result of incorrect Temp folder permissions.

HP Printers - Print jobs stuck in print queue

Replacement for Print and Scan Doctor

Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS)

AND / OR

Do the work yourself - one step at a time...

First, check that Windows Update does not need to install updates (or Restart)

Settings > Update and Security > Check for Updates

NOTE: If an update is already pending, install that update > Restart the computer and log in

Next

If the current print job will not cancel or if a previous print job is stuck in the queue,

and

If the issue is due to Print Services being stuck / hung / corrupted,

  • Stop Print Services
  • Remove any files in the print queue folder(s)
  • Restart the Print Service

OK, thanks.

The rest of the message applies.

What all have you tried?

For example, what is the result of having restarting everything, including the printer, computer, and -- if you can stand it -- the network router?

Has the queue been cleared and reset?

I did everything they told him to do https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/quot-Print-Queue-Issue-Not-... but that  didn’t work for me, and it’s still they same in the diagnostic they said the jobs thing is fixed but the queues didn’t fixed

There is nothing in the other solution that addresses rebuilding the print services queue.

True, too, the solution was intended only for the customer for whom the message was written.

What?

Your situation might be different.

That said, at the moment, I've no other ideas to suggest than those in my previous post.

I will post back should I think of any magic to add.

The instruction to use HP Smart to open the Embedded Web Server must have come from one of the links -

I don't use that method most of the time.

In your case, it likely would not work (as you discovered) -- you are not signed into HP Smart.

Even were you to sign in using your HP Account credentials, there are time when the method to open the printer from within HP Smart does not work -- this generally indicates an issue of some kind but will rarely tell you anything useful about the reason for the difficulty.

Additionally, though it is certainly not obvious from the limited information, you printer might not be on the network.

Finally,

Remember, too, that this is an HP+ printer -- it must be connected to the Internet to Print.

The printer uses Web Services to connect to the Internet.

Should you have issues with connecting the printer to the Internet, perhaps contact Contact HP+ Support

What?  After a period of disconnection from the Internet, an HP+ printer will cease to print.

I have an HP+ printer but it has not had issues remaining connected -- I honestly don't know what the symptoms would look like.

AND

This could be a "wild goose chase" -- that is, the printer might be connected to the Internet and the whole reason you cannot print is unrelated to the printer's network condition.  ??

============================================

If you wish to open EWS,

Perhaps try opening EWS directly from your Browser

EWS > HP Document / How-to (InkJet Printers – Original Format)

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

OR

HP Laser Printers - Using the Printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

===========================================

If you believe the reason you cannot print is related to the queue setup or its condition,

Perhaps use the manual steps to clear and rebuild the Print Services folder.

I am sorry I cannot be more forthcoming -- I am reminded on occasion by colleagues that my skill with Laser Printers is limited -- I might be missing something unique to your printer type.

Were it mine to do and because the printer is indeed an HP+ connected printer, I might try to contact
