Hi Guys,
recentely we are facing the below issue with 2 printers.
officejet7612 & officejet8700
The moment the printers get IP address(DHCP) from the network, the display start to blink and the printer reboot continously. The same goes if its connected to wireless network as well.
i have connected the printer to different ports, different switches, restarted the switches etc...
at the same time it works fine if i connect to my mobile hotspot. so im sure the issue is in the network..however im not able to pin point it.
if any one has any suggestionn it would be helpful.
we have xerox/ laserjet HPs in our environemt, which all working fine.
Thanks

Hi! @cdnkuwait, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand your printer reboots and the display keeps blinking when it is connected to the network.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Have you replaced the router recently?
Are there any interferences between the printer and the router?
Splendid analysis and remarkable patience shown. It is immensely appreciated.
If you have a dual-band router, make sure it is set to the 2.4 GHz band. If your router is set to the 5 GHz band, the printer cannot connect to the network.
Try updating the printer firmware on both the printers and check if it helps.

Also, Try assigning a manual IP to your printer and check if it helps.
• Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to get the IP address.
• Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
• Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
• Click on the radio button which says, “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
• Click on radio button which says, “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
• Restart the printer and then router once done.

@cdnkuwait, Thanks for your quick response and time again.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you need to know how to disable the WS-Discovery on your printer.
Try the steps recommended below and change the settings.
Settings can be configured via the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS). To access the EWS, type the printer’s IP address exactly as it appears on the Configuration Page in the browser url field (e.g. 12.34.567.89) and press Enter.
Refer this article to know more information about changing the security settings on the printer. Click Here
Hope this helps!
