Has anyone tried a factory reset?

 

This issue without a solution response from HP is ridiculous.

Hi buddy,

I have also tried to unplug the printer 2X and then turn it back on. The previous issue that I was facing is resolved but now it is giving another problem. 

When I have turned it back on, issue that I was facing before was gone and the process start working but just on the next step on my laptop (with my office deskjet connected to it vial application), it began showing error code OX- 8558353938 ac. If you have also faced the same issue, let me know how it was resolved.

This is the second thread I have been through.  'Something' happened in late October and based on these threads many people are experiencing the same issue in a short period of time.  A botched auto-update, perhaps?  I'm 'pretty sure' my computer hasn't updated anything that would affect my Officejet.

 

Does HP monitor this?  I usually deal with HP Enterprise and finding HP support for consumer level devices can be a nightmare.

This is now happening 5 times a day.  Is there a fix other than unplugging and rebooting my printer 5 times a day

In the end I got a solution (do factory reset) after turning to twitter.  No other attempt at getting a solution worked
