This error code started about a week ago. I have unplugged the printer several time, it keeps showing up

I have the same problem. I can unplug the printer but it only temporarily resolved the issue. Please advise on how to resolve this issue permanently. Thank you.

There was a suggestion several months ago to reset the settings. I did that several times, it seemed to help a bit, but then the error code and blue screen would re-appear. Unplugging, waiting a few seconds, then plugging back in also seemed to help but only for a few times. What I started doing is turning off the printer (not unplugging it) immediately after a print job, then turning it on only when I needed to print. This is a pain, but it was the only way to avoid the error code returning.

I am not encouraged by the reviews of other printers so will hang on to this one until the very expensive cartridges run out. Also discouraged that new HP printers are not compatible with Windows 7, which is what my computer runs. Be careful if you buy a new HP (or any other brand) printer, make sure it is compatible with whatever operating system you use.
