I have a new HP Officejet 9015 printer. After the printer does an auto shutdown the lights on the front for power and wireless remain on and the power button will not turn on the printer. The only way to turn on the printer is to unplug it and then plug it back in. I don't think this should be necessary. Any suggestions to fix this annoying issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, since this is new, I would recommend that.

Thank you for your reply. We have already downloaded the latest firmware (the printer already had the latest) and extensively tried every possible solution found on the HP site and beyond. We are now feeling that this could be a hardware issue and will likely return the printer to Staples.ca and then perhaps order another one of the same model from them. Your thoughts? Thanks.
