What’s new in Poly VideoOS 4.3.2

This maintenance release of Poly VideoOS is available for all Poly and partner modes.

 

IMPORTANT:  Poly VideoOS 4.3.2 isn’t compatible with Poly Studio X72. Don’t download or install it on Poly Studio X72. Review the section on updating your system before you install this release.

 

Poly VideoOS 4.3.2 includes the following important updates and security enhancements:

  • Fortified Rest API authentication and pairing protocol
  • Fixed vulnerability in third-party libraries
  • Poly Content App is end of life and no longer available for download. You can still use Poly Content App with VideoOS systems; support will be removed in an upcoming release.

Hi, I'm going to open a support ticket alongside this but did anyone else experience the following issue after their Studio X30 devices running Google Meet updates to this software version?

- tablet displays showing "Google Meet can't start" with a restart prompt

- Poly bar is constantly cycling between the PolyOS display screen and launching Google Meet

 

Ultimately I had to:

- use Poly Lens to roll back the software version

- reset the whole device and set it up fresh

can you ensure you pull the logs of a unit doing this and supply to the Support Team? Prior to a factory reset/downgrade via Lens.

Hi @SteffenBaierUK, I'm afraid I've already completed the device resets as I needed them up and running for meetings scheduled yesterday. If this issue occurs again, I'll be sure to pull the logs in advance.

We have observed in the Teams Admin Center that a newer version of the Teams App is available, which is not included in the current firmware version.

 

Additionally, there is an updated Admin Agent.

That teams app version doesn't look right. 4.3.2.422023 is the Poly firmware version. Teams should be 1449/1.0.96.2024091202. 

 

Here's the versions I'm using. I haven't had any issues reported.

Microsoft releases its latest Microsoft Teams application regularly. They also included a Teams Admin Agent with the 4.3.2 Release:

in addition, our Friends from Zoom added PolyOS 4.3.2 to their ZDM Server and released 6.2.0 (3100) for Zoom Rooms.
