I have the same issue with my 4630, have owned less than 6 months and just shows an error after printing

2 full pages, I have tried suggestions to no avail.  It says it is out of warranty, I thought I had a year, no such luck.

Any help out there would be appreciated.

These steps apparently do not work for Amycody as I posted them on March 5th 2014 (marked as the solution) and Amycody said they did not work for them.

Amycody, have you tried the steps again, making sure you follow each step?

I have this problem too.  I have done all the add new port and put in printer IP etc.  It printed great for awhile but now it won't print at all.  It says it's offline? but when checking, it's all connected to the router and computer.  I can even print test pages from my computer.

If I run HP diagnostic doctor, It says that there is a queue problem and fixes it but what it actually does is undo the whole add port/IP address and puts it back onto the original settings.  That's great if you want to print 1 or 2 pages but i want to print more without it cancelling it after 4 pages.  Is there a more perminant fix for this?  I'm starting to regret buying this printer.  It's more hassle than it's worth.  I think that I waste more ink than I would like to but not enough for HP to earn enough from.

Maybe I should sign up to this monthly ink program as i'm wasting enough and maybe they should do a paper program too as i'm wasting that too.

Hi,

I have done the only suggestion on here which is:

1. RIGHT Click START. LEFT Click Control Panel.
2. LEFT Click "Devices and Printers".
3. Find your printer. RIGHT click it.
4. LEFT Click "Printer PROPERTIES".
5. In New Window, LEFT Click "Ports" Tab

8. In New WIndow, LEFT Click "Next
9. Type in YOUR Printer's IP Address.  LEFT Click "Next"

Click "Apply".

And like I said, it worked but now doesn't at all.
