Are we still talking about the print and scan doctor?

OK so let us complete step one fast before this printer loses it's connection. What exactly do I do?

Probably going offline soon. If you have any questions, revert to the original post I made for tips and steps to try in that link.  My philosophy in the IT world is if you don't understand it, then it either doesn't apply or try not to look too deep into it.  I will be available tomorrow to continue assistance.  Gotta set that static IP tho is your main focus all along.  Tomorrow I may be able to send you a personal message and continue this in a different manner such as personally remote into your PC.  Can't just leave someone hanging like this but my timezone says it's bed time.

Main focus - access the printer's IP address via it's webpage then see if that helps in a few days.  Let me know the results - if no success I will IM you here.

Hey jabzi, Funny thing is I've asked over four or five times were to find that. I still don't know. I've asked where to find the printers address...I still don't know. I have a HP network page printed by my computer (i'm pretty sure it has the address in it somewhere) but it has many including MAC address. what address to type in the explorer search window..I still do not know, I have even offered to post a picture of that config. page so as to be shown/told what address I need to type into the explorer window. I have got no response that actually leads me to a resolution of my problem. I don't know what else I can do. Ive never felt so lead around the bush! Sorry if that seems cruel. I don't mean any dis respect. It's just I'm not a particularity stupid person or even ignorant but at this point I sure feel that way.
