Check to see if Web view upgraded itself again. That does cause the failure to change settings error code. So sorry!

Make sure in your s4 settings to auto update is turned off in general & about device & turn off so you can manually select what to update so abdroid system updates doesn't automatically update anymore. Downgrade android system updates. In playstore select hp print service plug in & uninstall & re-install & restart your phone. If your printer is connected to same network as your phone when you go to print the model of your printer will automatically come up then you choose your printer not print to pdf then the hp print options will come up. Sounds like your printer was not connected to the wifi properly if your phones not giving you the hp print options you could have a printer connection issue not a phone issue

Sorry on last post I meant: Downgrade "android system webview updates". Also for me my printer has capability to connect to wifi built into it but I found it kept disconnecting & causing annoyance until I plugged it directly into the router to connect flawless on our pc's phones & other devices in house.

I have had to do this android webview whole routine a few times (disable, factory version, enable) and it DOES work on my Galaxy7 phone. But I do notice more then once on my Samsung s2 tablet screen freezes and I must do a close all open windows to get out of the frozen HP print screen.

I did this and lost the "print" option on Yahoo mail.

Sadly, downgrading Android System WebView no longer works for me on Samsung Galaxy S5 Marshmallow 6.0.1 and Epson XP-410 printer.
It did work initially, and the app has NOT updated itself and even went as far as letting it update and going through the entire process again.
This sucks.

Disable and re enable "Android System Webview" worked on my Samsung Android and got rid of the error messages when trying to print.  Only difference was that I had to find it under ALL in Application manager. Thanks for this workaround.

All the ideas listed here wouldn't work for me. Rolling back to an older Android System Web view worked for a while but even that eventually failed. And yes I made sure auto update was off on that app.

The only real fix/workaround I've found is to use Gmail through the chrome browser on my phone. Gmail in chrome works surprisingly well. You can print as long as your printer has an email address and save emails as a pdf to Google drive no problem. It's crap to do it this way but at least it works

Yeah, might be what I have to remember to do this as well through Outlook mail on the web, not the email app. I don't use Gmail as a primary account, so I'm screwed if it doesn't work through web based Outlook

Heads up... Web based Outlook from what I can tell, DOES NOT allow printing... No option I could find 😞
