Before the installation of the pkg file, I have also removed the hp folder that contained the frameworks that were considered as malware.

Then I have printed a page, and Mac asked me to install the printer support.

has anyone yet received the solution?

Thanks to everyone for their posts - good to hear we're not alone.  I have not got a solution yet, but have moved the HPDM.framework folder (the one identified in the error message) to the trash and at least this stops the error message from appearing every 10 seconds. Very annoying.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and drivers per the link provided above.  At this time my printer seems to be printing ok, and I don't have that annoying message.  With that said, if I open the HP Utility application the message reappears, when I removed the file it says is affected, it simply changes to a different file.  And I cannot scan from my printer to my laptop, HP Easy Scan application does not complete installation.  Seems HP could put out a set of steps as this is clearly not an isolated user issue.

I have a MacBook Pro and am having the same issue. I have a HP OfficeJet 3830 and am quite tired of HP at this point. I completely disagree with the razor and blades business model. The value for the customer isn't there. Currently looking at different printers.

The same problem, also HP Officejet 8600 Pro Plus on iMac with macOS Catalina 10.15.

Hi Berlin68 - BryanCustomPure came up with a solution that works but I don't know how to mark his post as 'Solved the issue' (or similar).  You and I have the same setup - iMac with macOS Catalina 10.15 and HP OfficeJet Pro Plus 8600.  Good luck!

My information is that Apple's certification for  file, HPDM.framework, has expired on Oct 23, after a 3 year term.  This causes the alarm bells to sound.  My information is that the file will NOT "damage your computer," but merely annoy the heck out of us all.  My MacBook Pro Catalina and Envy 7100 series printer are working just fine, and I hide the warning block down in the corner out of the way.

This is appears to be an HP foul up.
