Migrating HP Poly Android Microsoft Teams Rooms devices to Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
Poly devices running Poly VideoOS 4.5.2 and Microsoft Teams Rooms will automatically move to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for device management in Teams Admin Center (TAC).

This guide will detail how administrators can convert existing HP Poly Android MTR endpoints to support Intune Android Open Source Project (AOSP) device management platform. Microsoft is deprecating Android Device Administrator, which uses Company Portal (CP), in favor of AOSP device management.

Steps to migrate from Company Portal to AOSP

Ensure Intune is setup to accept enrollment of AOSP devices. Follow the instructions in the Migrating Teams Android Devices to AOSP Device Management from Device Administrator guide.

Once AOSP device management is enabled and configured in Intune, update to Poly VideoOS 4.5.2 through either Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Poly Lens.

Log in to intune.microsoft.com with the proper credentials for your tenant

Select Device > Android > Android Devices

Search for the name of the device that was converted and confirm it has AOSP Enrollment.
